WEEK SIX

Persona , Identity and Presence

This week we didn't get to meet up in Second life but instead we had a conversation in our Facebook group chat regarding the topic of the group project. Although this was only a brief conversation , we are beginning to gel and communicate more efficiently in comparison to other weeks. We are progressing quite slowly but thankfully we are progressing and each week getting to know each other better. This brings us back to the idea of "form , storm , norm and preform"as we discussed in the previous weeks. Once we continue to progress each week it will bring us closer to achieving a successful group project.

In this weeks class John reminded us that it is important to fill out all of the sections in our blog for example the "About me " section. It is important to provide a brief introduction to you so that your readers can begin to understand your perspective on your writing.

We also discussed how we should be constantly improving the style of our blogs . For example if we would like to take a descriptive or critique approach to the blog posts. Your preferred style can be any but we must remember that is has to be written with an academic approach . This includes grammar , punctuation and remembering to read over our work before publishing it . John also reminded us that if we are including images it is important to caption them or give credit to the source of the images..

From this blog post on I am going to try and enhance my blog writing skills and produce a constant style of writing throughout my blog. I believe this will make it more enjoyable for my readers.
